The SSC CGL Examination is one of the most sought tests in India, which typically draws up a large number of aspirants from throughout the country to compete for various Group B and Group C posts in the Government of India. The process of getting selected is also very long as there are 4 Tiers in the SSC CGL examination.
Here I am sharing some general tips on how to plan a strategy for preparation:
Choose the right books: NCERT books are inevitable and supple enough to clear the exam. A conceptual and basic understanding can be obtained when you read NCERT books of class 6th to 10th, especially of Science and Mathematics.
Note Making and Previous Year Papers: One of the most important parts of preparation is to make short and factual notes, these notes will not only ease your revision but also enhance memory & retaining power. Always try to solve as many as previous year's papers at least of last 5 years and find out where you are lacking.
Work smartly: You must create a proper and realistic timetable so that there should be separate time slots for the different sections according to your weak and strong sections/topics.
Consistency: Putting the same effort every day is a rule of thumb.
Important Tip: Develop reading habits and try to understand the application & usage of grammatical rules and improve your vocabulary by adding new words daily.
Mock Tests: Consider various preparation sources to make your preparation stronger. Attending a Mock Test is better than reading a single topic 10 times, especially for the Aptitude section. I personally recommend you to visit the Testwale website as they are having SSC CGL Free Test Series prepared by the subject experts.
